Burger Cupcakes and soda pop

I loved Bakerella's hamburger cupcakes so I decided I needed to give them a try this past weekend. I didn't have enough time to make sugar cookie fries, and I ran out of brownies so I decided to stick in some straws and sugar cubes (ice cubes!) to make some cola's.

Why?

Why is it so hard to pack groceries? Why is it hard to see that you don't put laundry detergent in the same bag as food? That you don't put a small package of spaghetti beneath heavy items, the same for a snack pack of mini donuts? I even group things on the belt at the checkout so that when they get the items they are easier to decide what goes in what bag. You can't just pull out the bag of cold items and bring those into the house first because somehow they manage to put one refrigerated item in each bag. That's my frustration for the day. Thank you.

tissues

I think tissue makers have a conspiracy. Next time you pull out a kleenex look at how much dust they create. I have a box on my desk 24/7 and it is covered in dust. Now wouldn't this dust make you sneeze more? Cause more congestion? What happens when you put the tissue to your nose? You breath in all the dust! Conspiracy. Just saying.

Gardening Time

So sometime this year Mr. P built a raised bed garden. He'd been wanting to do it for some time now and finally get just went out there and built it. It didn't take very long and I think it looks pretty nice. My first inclination was to paint it, because I want to paint everything, but really I like it just the way it is. It is a garden after all. Excuse my awful pictures. This one in particular was taken about 7pm before the rain storm came.






I'm not sure what this is here. It's a vegetable of some sort. I know there is a lettuce, swiss chard, zucchini, bell pepper mix, carrots and... maybe something else?



None of these things I will eat. I like the flavor of bell peppers in things though.

So anyways, I'm fairly lazy and only planted one whole plant in the garden, but I'm excited to see how it turns out. The raised beds are pretty easy to make so you should go make one. After we made ours I found this on The Pioneer Woman's site. She has a step by step of the process (and prettier pictures too!)

sleepy time

Well I have pictures to share of chicken pop making (thanks to the lovely Bakerella and her wonderful site), gardening, steak grilling and a few other things, but alas, they will have to wait. I had big plans for uploading and blogging tonight, but it's 11:11 pm and I'm going to be a lazy bum and call it a night. They'll be up soon though! Goodnight.
