So sometime this year Mr. P built a raised bed garden. He'd been wanting to do it for some time now and finally get just went out there and built it. It didn't take very long and I think it looks pretty nice. My first inclination was to paint it, because I want to paint everything, but really I like it just the way it is. It is a garden after all. Excuse my awful pictures. This one in particular was taken about 7pm before the rain storm came.

I'm not sure what this is here. It's a vegetable of some sort. I know there is a lettuce, swiss chard, zucchini, bell pepper mix, carrots and... maybe something else?

None of these things I will eat. I like the flavor of bell peppers in things though.
Here are some splinters for your viewing pleasure:

So anyways, I'm fairly lazy and only planted one whole plant in the garden, but I'm excited to see how it turns out. The raised beds are pretty easy to make so you should go make one. After we made ours I found
this on The Pioneer Woman's site. She has a step by step of the process (and prettier pictures too!)
